“Tantra is a path that leads your life energy to the highest peak of consciousness and love, without suppressing the pleasures of the body. It is the path of those who have enough courage to say YES to all the aspects of life.” ~Osho
Tantra is an ancient, holistic form of yogic spirituality and a beautiful vehicle into enlightenment. It basically means expansion through awareness. The philosophy is truth. The intentions are evolution, attainment of wisdom, soul liberation and to benefit all sentient beings. It is beyond polarities.
Absolutely everything is part of a brilliant, interconnected, energetic web. When we mindfully tap into this universal energy, our entire lives become limitless and full of ecstasy. How exciting!
Seeing the divine in everyone and everything is a major concept of Tantra. It transforms illusion into clarity and removes superficial masks that blind us from having more authentic relationships with ourselves, loved ones and the world. No bullshit. Just love.
Spiritual eroticism (Tantra) uses energy to reach high states of bliss. It is concerned with the unifying of opposites (yin/yang, man/woman, plus/minus, earth/cosmos, etc.) When these polarities unite, we connect on much deeper levels where there is non-duality, nirvana and cosmic bliss!
Sexuality is a mystical impulse and sex energy is infinitely powerful! When cultivated and channeled properly, it has the capacity to enhance and heal every layer of our being (physical, energetic, emotional and mental). Making love is a profound form of meditation and an exciting stepping stone into transformational evolution.

From my article in Elephant Journal-“There are many arguments on the meaning of Tantra that could be discussed nonstop. Finding just one definition is nearly impossible. Yes, it can include sexual yoga. It also involves ritual, meditation, breathwork, dance, astrology, mantras, yantras, yogic philosophy, and working with “the Goddess.” It is a collection of ancient scriptures—a holistic system of personal development. It is an intentional expansion of consciousness, the interconnected web of interconnected life energies. But to me, it is love—and recognizing love in all we do, say, think, and experience.”

“Tantra is the hot blood of spiritual practice. It smashes the taboo against unreasonable happiness; a thunderbolt path, swift, joyful, and fierce. There is no authentic Tantra without profound commitment, discipline, courage, and a sense of wild, foolhardy, fearless abandon.” ~Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche
