Why do we say “OM“?
The ancient, mystic sound represents pure liberation and loosely translates as “welcome to the god,” but not in a religious sense.
OM/AUM is more of a mantra or intonation than a word. It’s the universal, cosmic vibration of divine energy (how cool!). It is beyond words.
A=the waking consciousness, root, science, reason, the primary sound with the tongue not touching any part of the mouth. U=dreaming/sleeping state, imagination, fluidity, transition from A to M, connecting sound. M=univeral consciousness, back of throat, mouth closed, cosmic night, the final vibration moving inside of head.
